Francesco Paolo Michetti is one of those painters whose work keeps giving, no matter how many times you return to it. I came to know him while I was in art school. I would always go to the Art Institute and study the masterworks there before heading up to paint at the Palette and Chisel in Chicago.
This study, like the Mancini before it, helps me think in a different way. Gets me out of my own head and helps me to grow.
